I spent a lovely (rainy) weekend in NYC for NYIGF and I fell in love with- Macrons. We went on a food eating mission on Saturday night in the Lower East Side when we made our 3rd stop (I believe we made 6 food stops that night) of the night at Bisous Ciao and sampled 6 different- all amazing. Lemon was hands down my favorite but Raspberry was a close second. Now that I know about these little amazing treats I have to find an awesome place in Dallas- any suggestions for a wonderful french bakery?
unfortunately i do not think dallas has mastered the macaron, but give them some time. They are a huge hit in Paris and NYC should be getting the original French Macaron House ...
