My puppy dog is a sick man! I received a call from the vet today with the results of some blood work from last week and she thinks he may be in the beginning stages of Kidney failure. His thyroid is also extremely low and they are running more tests on that tomorrow. Please keep us in your thoughts and pray that it is just a hypothyroid and not kidney failure.
How old is your dog? I have a black lab who was diagnosed with Addison's Disease when she was about 2 years old. It is also an endocrine system disease. It is supposedly rare, but our vet is working with 3 labs who have the disease. I'll be thinking about you and him.
ReplyDeleteMabry is 8. This is the first "real" diagnoses we have had even though he (or should I say we) have been battling upset stomach issues for years... we should know more tomorrow and we will go from there!
