Monogram Monday

Since I missed Monogram Monday last week I am doing a double header today! Moving right along with the back to school theme for this Monday I thought I would feature some adorable Children's stationery. Believe it or not kids love to write thank you notes (for the most part) and what better way to keep them excited than by getting super cute notes for them. All of these notes are part of the English Paper Company and can be found from Getpapered.com or your local stationery store!

Monogram Monday

In honor of kids going back to school today I thought I would post some very cute back-to-school items that are all must haves from Garnet Hill. I am a big fan of using kids initials on their school bags and lunchboxes- they are much tougher to get confused and/or stolen when you know exactly who it belongs too! Be careful when using their full name on any items that they carry regularly since it makes them a target for stranger danger (and I don't even have children!!) I love all the back to school items on Garnet Hill. My sister bought my niece's back pack there last year and it still looks good! They have a great special running through September 6- if you buy a back pack you get a lunch box free!

H&M

FINALLY- H&M opened today in Dallas! H&M is always one of my favorite stops when I'm traveling in NYC (and Las Vegas!) Hands down they have the best bang for your buck when it comes to style vs. price. These are some of my favorites off their website- I am going to wait a week or two and let the excitement settle before I venture into the store!

In Love...

I spent a lovely (rainy) weekend in NYC for NYIGF and I fell in love with- Macrons. We went on a food eating mission on Saturday night in the Lower East Side when we made our 3rd stop (I believe we made 6 food stops that night) of the night at Bisous Ciao and sampled 6 different- all amazing. Lemon was hands down my favorite but Raspberry was a close second. Now that I know about these little amazing treats I have to find an awesome place in Dallas- any suggestions for a wonderful french bakery?

Christmas in August

Happy Friday! August is almost half way over and I am headed to NYC tomorrow for NYIGF- can't wait! To all my non-retail working readers, Did you know that almost all Christmas orders ship to the stores in August? So with all my stores starting to get their Holiday goodies in- I thought I would post some very cute Christmas cards from the ever-so-popular Paper Belle. Paper Belle always has cute designs that I think works great for family photos. Most of their cards retail at $1.50-$2.00 a piece so if you need to send 100+ cards they are your company to look at!

Missoni for Target

I can not even begin to describe how thrilled I was when I saw that Missoni is doing a launch for Target. I have oooh'd and aaah'd over Missoni for so many years (especially their home decor) but with luxury product comes a luxury price tag! The line they are launching for Target is exactly up my ally and I can't wait to get my hands on some flats, the tea cups, and the bedding- Really I could buy all of it (who doesn't need a Missoni bike?!)

Things I Need...

I love all things Diane Von Furstenberg and naturally when she started to release tech accessories I would instantly be attracted. I love this ipad cover. It is super chic and completely functional and would stick out in anyone's LBB (large black bag).

Naran Ji Soap by Molton Brown

This week when I was out-and-about I picked up some amazing hand soap from Sharla's in Mckinney (great cosmetic store on the square if you haven't been!) Naran Ji by Molton Brown smell just like sunscreen and it doesn't dry your hand out! Great reminder of a favorite summer scent and for $25 a great little hostess gift!!

Monogram Monday

If you are a fan of Kate Spade like I am then you are going to love her new initial notes! I love the black and white stripe (seeing as though I received a black and white striped purse from Kate Spade for my birthday) and I love the block initial in gold embossing. The bright green lining gives a great pop of color and pulls the whole Kate Spade signature look together!
